As you may know, we had an unplanned hiatus with the technical emergency with our website. But thankfully, that's all mostly sorted, and our public-facing platform is back.
|
In the meantime, there's an array of events and opportunities that might be helpful to increase your competency in evaluation. Don't forget to follow our twitter @MsiaEvalSoc, where we do regularly share such news. And if you have similar news, don't forget to reply to this email, or just email advocacy@mes.org.my directly.

- As announced by the Asian Development Bank, the 2021 Asian Evaluation Week, themed 'Transformational Evaluation: Moving from Uncertainties to Resilience' is approaching! - EvalYouth Asia is also announcing the return of the Asia-Pacific Virtual Winter School for Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEE), in December. Do follow their twitter (@EvalyouthAsia) for updates.
- The Inter-Regional Initiative for Professionalization of Evaluation (IRIPE) will be holding the first Consultation on Professionalization of Evaluation on 2 Sept. Registration is open. Professionalization is a key strategic objective in the evaluation world, as we organise to develop the competencies needed to make this role a proper career and not just a function embedded in programme management.
- And finally, TODAY, the Evaluation Observatory will be holding a webinar on 'Building an Evaluation Ecosystem: Perspectives from Evaluation Associations'. Registration is still open.

Sharing Knowledge: Got a Query?
As those who are part of the WhatsApp group may be aware, members are already taking the opportunity to share opportunities but also questions for feedback. MES would like to restart our regular EvalKlinik sessions, where such practical questions have an opportunity to be shared and responded to.

We're currently collecting queries and questions. Please do use this form or reply to this email directly. We're collecting questions on a rolling basis.
