Innovations in Evaluation
Evaluation as a cross-cutting multi-disciplinary field has been around for a long time. Though it is an old field there are many options for developing and innovating new ways of doing things. This can be seen from the literature which shows there are still many avenues open for finding new and better ways for evaluations.
In line with the MES's own conviction and commitment to R&D and innovations in the field, the MES is proud to announce that it will be launching a series of awards and competitions for the year 2010-2011 in various aspects of evaluations.
The awards will cover specific issue areas such as the following:
a. Evaluation approach
b. Evaluation standards
c. Evaluation tools and techniques
d. IT applications for monitoring and evaluation
e. Evaluation planning and formulation
f. Evaluation modelling
g. Evaluation utilization
