International Evaluation Associations

The MES has substantively continued its efforts towards contributing to the development of evaluation initiatives in the international community through active participation in the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE). IOCE is made up of an alliance of regional and national associations/societies setup up to provide a platform for international cooperation on various issues related to evaluation and its advocacy. On the international front MES continues to work in collaboration with the IOCE by actively participating in the IOCE programs that includes cross fertilization of evaluation practice and theory, addressing international challenges in evaluation, build evaluation leadership and capacity especially in developing  countries and assist the evaluation profession to take global approach.

   

MES International Conference 2010 updates

The MES International Conference ended on 2 April 2010.
The President and Organising Chair of the Malaysian Evaluation Society wish to thank all sponsors, supporters, speakers, delegates, participants and volunteers who have jointly contributed to the success of the MES International Conference 2010 held recently at the Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur from the 29 March - 2 April 2010.

Evaluation guidelines and standards

MES adopts a set of evaluation standards and guidelines for program evaluation established by several international evaluation societies.These guidelines and principles are broadly intended to cover all kinds of evaluation and to guide the professional practice of evaluators. The standards are used as guidelines to foster continuous development in the practice and application of evaluation among members of the profession.

MES Collaborations

MES works closely with many institutions and the Ministry of Finance to design and implement evaluation and monitoring capacity-building programs within the public sector. MES has been actively involved with supporting and assisting the formation of evaluation societies for a number of countries in Asia and Africa and the International Organization for Cooperation in Evaluation (IOCE).
